House rules
House rules
The playground is built to be safe and fun at the same time. The rules below are few, and they exist so that both stay true.
Supervising children
Children remain at all times in the care of the adult who brought them. Our staff entertain, help and step in when needed, but they do not take over supervision and do not stand in for a parent.
The exception is a party with a dedicated host, for the agreed time and in the agreed space. Even then, at least one adult from the family stays on the premises.
Age and height
Adults enter the play area only to accompany a small child, not to play. Please stay off the slides and out of the netting.
Socks, not shoes
The play area is entered in socks — children and accompanying adults alike. No bare feet, no outdoor shoes.
If you forgot your socks, ask at reception.
Health and allergies
Please do not bring a child who has a fever, a contagious illness or an unexplained rash. We cannot check this at the door and we rely on you.
If anyone in your group has a food allergy, tell us before you order. The menu marks allergens on every item, but there is only one kitchen and we cannot guarantee the absence of traces.
Food and drink from outside
Food and drink brought from outside are not consumed on the premises. We make two obvious exceptions: baby food and food required by a medical diet.
A birthday cake is welcome. Tell us in advance so we can keep it cool and bring it out at the right moment.
Food and drink stay at the tables. They do not come into the play area — nor does chewing gum.
What comes off before playing
Scarves, long cords, jewellery, watches, loose glasses, hard or sharp toys. All of these can catch on something or hurt someone else.
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not allowed anywhere on the premises.
Personal belongings
Your clothes and belongings remain in your care. We recommend not leaving valuables unattended.
Whatever we find after closing is kept at reception for 30 days. Call us if you left something behind.
Photographs
You are free to photograph your own child. We only ask that you avoid framing other families' children.
Photographs we take for the site or for social media are made only with the written consent of the parents, asked for beforehand. If you would rather your child did not appear, tell us — that is enough.
When we may refuse entry
We may refuse or end access if the rules above are broken repeatedly, if someone puts other children at risk, or if an accompanying adult is visibly under the influence of alcohol. It is rare, and we take no pleasure in it.
Busy days
At weekends and during school holidays the hall can reach capacity. A table booking guarantees you the table, not unlimited access to the play area during that time.
By entering the play area you accept these rules, for yourself and for the children with you.
